We have an occasional problem with toilet smell in MH, time for quips now, then please come back read on and reply with a serious comment!!
I have tried travelling with some water in bowl in case smell was coming back through macerator, makes no difference, but we must have a seal as the water stays at same level
Problem seems to be worse when we have to travel with part or near full tank, due to issues with access to disposal points, but not sure why that would be a factor
It is particularly noticeable if we have a window open in cab even for a short time
I can smell similar odour when looking inside the outside toilet access door, but there are no obvious leaks or wet areas, floor is completely dry
We do not use chemical, but maybe I will need to, I have read that some seem to use a non bio wash liquid is this fact or myth? I would rather not use anything as we go to the Western Isles where most disposal points are non chemical only
I presume we must have some kind of vent fitted to the tank or it would not discharge, I can't see this, what am I looking for? will it be a valve like on a cassette or a length of pipe?
MH is a Hymer S800 2008 model
I really hope somebody knows what is going on and how to correct it, please
David
