My people inform me that Smudger; the reigning King of the Algarve has moved his court, castle and all, to Benidorm.

Pilgrims please note... don't go to the wrong place to pay homage.

As we plan not to be to far away at the rock and roll house it's nice knowing there is a crash pad close by...

Smudger has asked me to post on his behalf as he is busy organising his new staff. He says its always a problem taking on new subjects as they have to be trained to his way of thinking. A few photos of his Benidorm residence. I quite like the one taken from his balcony with his subjects below all in awe of his gin palace .

Strangely, the first rain they had here for months was on Wednesday night. The night we got here oh:. It went so cold this afternoon I had to change from shorts to moleskins .

Keith is a member of R.V.O.C. he was parked in the same spot last year for 5 or 6 days. He is a nice guy, stop and say hello if he is about.

What happened.

Have just been out to get the bread for Smudger and myself and there is SNOW on the surrounding mountains in Benidorm. In all the years I have been coming here I have ever seen snow this early. Looks like a day in a restaurant putting on weight
