Hurrah one week and we will be heading home considering taking Poole / Cherbourg crossing . Anyone experience as we have never used it. Also says you may stay overnight at port ??

I asked the port last year and I received an email saying that you can stay overnight for £5 which would be collected by the security man.

You can stay overnight at Poole port, as you drive off the ferry, it is sign posted for overnight stay £5 per night, has showers, toilets and café, we quite often park there and bike, walk into Poole

I see L D lines are now sailing to Santander from Poole. Not bad price. BUSBY
