Blimey. Show don't start till Tuesday! Last year you could book and then amend without charge, which facility I used twice. Looks like that's not on offer this year - and the base price has gone up [got returns for £48 last year]. Still good value though, and thanks for publicising it

Hi, can anyone tell me how this works is it just for a certain time period or certain length of vehicle or particular routes. I would like to make a saving on crossings aimed at norway next July but we are flexible and might take advantage of a decent saving on any route thanks.

We have 7.4m rig plus towcar. Just returned from France using last year's offer which resulted in a Dover/Calais return of an astonishing £56. We've just booked for July/Aug next year and the 'show' pricing for the Dover/Dunkirk offer has doubled to £118, but still a £20 saving over DFDS 'normal' fare and significantly cheaper than other ferry operators (and one third of the cost of the tunnel).

I did the same for this summer,, £56 it nearly halved the original cost without the code, but this time it is £99 with or without the code.:Sad:

I've only just noticedoh: there is a £10 surcharge from dover on a friday & saturday departures,,and £10 surcharge on dunkirk departures on sat/sun
I suppose they have to get the discount back from somewhere.:Angry:

Isn't it normal for £10 supplement at weekends, even on day-trips?

And dogs are free to go out but £30 to come back? Others charge the usual £15 each way. I found that the price was the same with or without the code.
Perhaps it hasn't kicked in properly yet?
But still cheaper than the others although at the end of July a night sailing could be had for £30 each way for the biggest MH and I had paid £38 in February!

i can get a price without the code,but if i enter code it says no crossings available.

i don't know if it's because i'm trying to book for end of july into august for 3 weeks.:Cool:
any way sod it, i've booked through caravan club £20 cheaper than dfds web site.

I thought that these offer codes are for NEC visitors to the motorhome show and are only available on the public show days. Today is the first day of the show so it may well work after show opens at 10am
