Make sure you get a directional aerial, like Status 530.

Choose supermarket £100 set or £400 specialist caravan one.

Its been said many times but do check out the viewing angles on a TV. On some models you will find that the position where one person can view the picture may be very poor for someone sitting in another seat. Certainly from my experience the Avtex have some of the best viewing angles I have found.:thumb:

We bought the Avtex suction Ariel as a stand by and to be honest it's fantastic . Easy to store and can be put up in seconds both in and outside. We paid £35 for it and well worth every penny.

Hi
We had a Chausson76, the TV slide out is high up on the left has you know if you are sitting in the front seats a TV with poor viewing screen will show up black, I fathomed a removable metal plate to screw on the TV and the slide out it dropped the TV around a foot then it was ok, but had to be removed for travel, I might still have it in the garage if any use to you, Ariel wise I bought a £10 one from Wilkinsons mounted it on a telescopic brush stale then clamped it to the bike rack, I also fitted one of those Maxview duel Ariel connectors to the van outside the TV slide area for connection. Hi Pete

Thanks very much for the comments. What TV would you recommend or did you have in your 76?

Thanks Brian

Can you get the Status 530 in most supermarkets or is it only sold in specific ones?

Hi Reg
We had a Meos , which fit nicely in the slide cupboard, we have that now over the bed in the Bessie, and a slightly bigger cheapy on the stand in the Hab part, the Meos is a good little Tv with a DVD slot, I will have a look for the plate I found it did the job. Pete :thumb:
