Yes, certainly dont worry about it.. The good thing about Calais with either the Tunnel or ferry you come out on main roads and you get time to adjust..
It will soon be like second nature....

Howie, enjoy yourself driving there. Just look right into the whites of the eyes of the oncoming traffic as you barrel along on the left side of the road. Rest assured they will be just as terrified as you:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Seriously, I hope to be down that neck of the woods myself round about that date.

Hopefully we won't literally bump into each other though:winky:

Done it

We are taking the ferry to Spain mid January for a couple of months. First time we'll have spent the worst bit of Winter over there and can't wait. Don't know where you are heading, but last October and November we drove up through France and used Aires in most places as the campsites were often closed. The Aires were great, and often completely free. Have fun and make sure you have enough payload for the ever-increasing list of obligatory items drivers have to have with them.

From the other side of the water, we live in Spain, and find it easier to adapt to LHD driving than changing to RHD!

As others say, just take it easy, and it will all drop into place!!

Oh come on Howie ... if I can do it everyday you certainly can::bigsmile:

I know I'm being cheeky ! You can't imagine how scared I am each time I think I might have to do it sometime (drive on the other side that is) when I have my van... not straight away though! I'll have to get used first to the size:Wacko:

If by any chance you manage to get down enough then do call in ! I'll be delighted ... and the dogs will have room for a good run on the stadium fields!!:winky:

Whatever you decide ... enjoy !

Amicalement
