Now what Rapido owners and Burstner owners should do is upgrade to this, the absolute bees knees:thumb:

Or of course you could forget those cheap imitations of a proper motorhome and have a real one. .
€300,000 it should be nice.
But it is
I said I could have spent a fortune in Dusseldorf.
The Frence sales girl was also nice on the RMB stand
But I only looked at the motorhome honest

Dave
I hope the new one is to the same quality.
I think you are correct .
But its time all firms put a little more care into building there motorhomes.
I thought the new one would have been on a Merc chassis
Also yours is German not part built in Germany and then to France for the rest of the build.
Do the Pilote groupe care as much as the old RMB firm?

[/HI]I take it you don't like Rapido's forget Burstener's, Dethletts are far superior.......as said here already the best Rapido's are the ones the owners customise, the interior's of all Rapido's are quite solidly made which is an ideally base to customise..having said that [HI]I've yet to find one screw that has been installed by the Rapido manufacture

very simply really, when you start customising (if your doing that) and you actually might take out the drawer in the kitchen, you might then take out a wood screw only to find the the wood is split because the rapido technican was cross eye'd so he split the wood installing the screws..most of the plumbing within the kitchen will have been fitted with cheap hard plastics that dont flex at all under driving conditions..and it goes on.....[/HI]
After reading that.... I have spent an hour looking over my babe...
And all the screws look the same...
How can you tell the Rapido manufacturer didn`t install them.. ?

Not at all, just having a dig at a certain ex-banker from Leicestershire who likes having a go at Burstners.......................:thumb:
totally agree!! I cant believe how poor (once you've gone behind theI have to say the plumbing is bad.
And to repair the pipe under the water heater you have to take out the oven.
Or fine a tecnition with arms that are 1mt long ang 20cm wide.
I found that man
But I think all motorhomes could be beter for the price.
Mel
Only because we bought a Burstner and showed up his Rapido
