Anyone used the site or aire at Montreuil sur Mer? We are having a long weekend 'over the water' & not wanting to go too far wondered if this was a nice place to visit?

don't know about Montreuil sur Mer but can recommend Le Crotoy an Le Touquet or Le Treport if you want to venture a bit further west.

We've used Le Crotoy a lot and loved it-But I've been reading some bad reports about lately, sounds as if 'travellers' are using it.

Anyone else heard anything?

Ken introduced us to Montreuil ,and we like that too-specially the town with loads of restaurants,an excellent Chocolatier and a quaint old fashioned iron mongers.

We usually catch a late train then overnight at Montreuil on our way south, this then gives us a good early start as we are quite a bit south of Boulogne. Croytoy is OK if you eat nothing but mussels, as that is all we have ever managed to find there!
