Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
We have come down to Cartagena for the weeks fiesta and found a really nice MH site. The owner is both friendly and helpful and the site is a credit to her. The showers / toilets ( water is piping up ) are spotless and the whole area is very clean. The WiFi is very fast 5Mb down / 2Mb up and signal is strong across the site. There is a washing machine and drier. The pitches are nice and big ( total of 28 ) and would easy fit American RV was ease. There is a dog walking area out side site running parallel to site. If your looking for a site that is quiet and has nothing but the basics then this is the place to come.
The security is great as there is someone there 24/7 and the gates ( big gates ) get locked 21:30hrs ( they give you key for small gate for access )

Cartagena is a 7km walk to the centre ( we walk it last night ) took about 50 minutes at relaxed pace ( had a bottle of wine before leaving MH )
Cost is 7 euros a night without EHU and 10 euros with, everything else is included.

Here is the web page:

Note: On our 80cm dish we can not get BBC,ITV,CH4,5USA,5* or more 4, however all other channels are working. I did try Filmon last night and work 100% for the missing channels for those of you that cannot live without TV:whatthe:

We are here until 30th as the fiesta is something to see.

It looks a bit like Orange grove, the access road looks single track in Streetview, is that the case?

Nop the road has traffic on both sides. When we arrived we had loads of room to travel on the road with cars and lorries passing us leading to site and because there is little traffic we just drove into middle of road and drove in. I little like Orange grove, but no swimming pool. Sitting in sun right now drinking G&T in peace and quiet........ Perfect. Later we will walk ( we have scooter ) but need the exercise into the town again as it's the the "roman" night. Worth seeing as last night everyone was dressed up in period dress and the atmosphere was fantastic.

There is a bus route about 400 meters from site in and out of town.

Storage of Motor Home

Well after a very nice afternoon with the owner of the site I have discovered that they also have a storage area for MH's. She showed me round and they are very big hangers with EHU to each MH if needed and completely dry. The nearest airport is 33.7 km, about 27 minutes by road and I'm sure they would supply transport to and from site.

We are lucky as we have our own storage place, but for members on this forum it might be handy to bookmark this thread in case you have to return to UK quickly from this area of Spain. The web page does not mention the storage as they do not want to be overrun, but if you call them ( English is not a problem ) they will try and help.
