Welcome to Motorhome Fun.

Might be best to spend £10 and get loads of advice on here.

You could also try

Welcome I am based in Croydon also and hymer owner, I would hang on for a while to understand various bits of the van before rushing out to check this and that, ask any queries in the forum till you settle in before deciding what to do with your new purchase
The hymer owner site is a good source for info also
Enjoy

I have never heard of a Hymer H544. Could it be case of finger-slippage on the keyboard? B and H are diagonally adjacent!

Turns out the H544, and it is called that on the HPI check, that I was looking at is a cat B total loss.

So folks worth spending the £9.95 on the HPI check

Cat C or D are insurable cat A or B forget it
