But I think it's awful. The new concept caravan from Knaus Tabbert, it has a built in projector and everything is controlled via an iPad. :Eeek: would it tempt you to start tugging::bigsmile: If your going to Dusseldorf you'll see it there.

All concepts look a bit weird but it's time to move away from tin box shapes on wheels.
It'll certainly shake up the "it's not a proper caravan brigade", might even cancel the motorhome on order:roflmto: (joke).

I'm sure it will be of more interest to a certain section of the travelling community. :winky:

Just goes to show we are not all the same. I like the streamline look and think the sun-deck at the rear is perfect for taking my afternoon G & T.

many many years! since I was a kid
my first impression is that it looks exactly like a covered car trailer with a few windows fitted and some plastic cupboards from Ikea chucked inside.

neither practical nor aesthetically pleasing.... I wont be ordering one

Its not so much the iPad, its the fingers controlling it I have the problems with......and the grey matter. Anyway, what is a senior moment? :)

Guys, it's a concept. Only parts of it will be introduced at a time. Whilst I won't be getting one I can see the attraction.
Anyway, and here's the deal breaker, my wife says it would have to be kept clean and tidy if it's going to be opened up like that.

Best looking caravan I've ever seen. Not that I'd buy one but at least they're looking forward and hopefully the styling and ideas will be applied to motorhomes at a later date.

It`s the way of the future,

I remember when the first Ford Sierra first came out, the shape looked so weird at the time, it is so dated now.

Take a look at a Carry on film from the 60`s and see how boxey and dated everything on wheels look compared with todays motors:thumb:

I agree with the ipad thing...stupid idea......as for the design at least someone is trying to do something different.
Makes a change from the norm... bread bins on wheels with interiors like indian restaurants.

So keep new designs coming...........the interior designers of motorhomes are clueless.................white leather sofas.........and sit on top basins in the loo smaller than the bowl I have my porridge in.

At some time the motorhome and caravan manufacturers are going to employ real designers who will understand what the vehicle is for....not trying to reflect the latest flakey ideas in domestic interiors.

Motorhomes generally are not out in front.......they are generally clueless.
Things like drop down beds that block the main door............just an example of bad design.

This cyclops of a design makes me want to vomit. One thing about "design" its a double edged sword..............it can ruin your business as well as enhance it. In my experience there are more bad designers than good ones.

Forget the price....who would consider buying this monstrosity ?
