How to protect inside of van garage? (1 Viewer)

I want to protect the flat surfaces in my vans garage. I was thinking PVC sheet or something similar but I can not find anything suitable (at the right price or locally).

Does anyone have any ideas please?

I used a sheet of the white plastic sign writers use. It proved to be very resilient.

why not use thin ply? easy to cut..not expensive

I use the dinner table heat insulation ( bought by the meter) cut it to size , double side adhesive tape to keep in in position...keeps the warmth in the van, protect's the Paper:Sad: wood veneer of the garage walls and partially stops the contents ratting against the floor etc etc:Cool:

I like the plastic idea but dunno where to buy it

Plywood would be ok but trying to avoid all that dust etc

Table protector.............hmm a bit pricey

I had wondered about vinyl flooring but thats not cheap

Machine mart do ribbed rubber matting in various sizes It does not wear out and is ideal

We use the interlocking mats which connect like a jigsaw to line our small box trailer so similar to a garage. As with table insulation material used double sided tape to keep them in place. Often get them quite cheap in Lidl or the like. Some people use similar as a mat or groundsheet for an awning so double use.

For the floor in the garage we used 1/2 phenolic plywood very hard wearing and waterproof

hippo tape - it is the plastic that you had one your carpet when you viewed your van - sticky back stuff, good as it can be renewed.

Or I quite like the garage floor tile idea mentioned earlier! Far better fix! Stops sliding items/rattles etc

We use breathable groundsheet material in the boot bit of our MH. Protects the surface and stops stuff from sliding around. Also very cheap.
