Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
I read that if you use an inflatable kayak in salt water, you should rinse it off with warm soapy water! How many of you actually bother and what's the reasoning behind it? Is it just to stop salt marks forming on the outer canvass,or is there another reason?
At over 3m long it would be a squeeze in the shower. :Eeek:

Some things that are 3m long when "inflated" are apparently significantly smaller at other times.....:RollEyes:

4 and many as a tugger
We had Sevylor and we used to rinse it in salt water the next time we used it. Had it for 3 years no problems.
