Hi ,anybody else travelling to France, on the 1st or 2nd, if so where are you heading for.We're heading west towards Brittany stopping 1st night at Arques aire.

We are over on 29th August, Pont de L'arche, Arromanches and Pontorson. Back 7th September.

We are off on 28th, poole to Cherbourg, we will decide on where to go depending on the weather. We have 10 days, hopefully better weather than our June trip.

We are giving ourselves a week to recover from Malvern then have the tunnel booked for the 27th. Don't have a plan will just go where fancy takes us. Or where I'm told to go.

Going on the 7th for a month hopefully booked ferry out but nothing back yet, was going to Italy but changed our minds now, instead of a lot of traveling like we did last year, going to take it a bit slower , heading that way but going to turn west at Dijon and head down to San Sebastián then back up the west coast if all goes well, all on France passion and aires.

Anyone anywhere near that route and times?

Lucky people. We've just returned from France. Off to try Germany in October.

For those that don't know and are heading for Brittany, the aire at Pleneuf Val Andre no longer exists!

We will be on the Chunnel round about the 27th, I don't doubt our first stop will be the aire at Embry and eventually work down to my sisters in Aquitane, taking a round about route.

As soon as it gets chilly we will trundle down through Spain and Portugal and not even considering the return trip until April or May

We're coming back from France on the 2nd. Not the best time as tunnel is at it's most expensive, but medical appointments demand it. The problem with getting older :Sad:

We have the Tunnel booked 3rd Sept and back 21st Oct. Everything else is soooooooooooooooooooooo flexible. On countdown now,can't wait!
