maybe some dry bushes or similar on suspension. Not unusual if not been used for a while. You can lube with silicone grease - but no other grease. Silicone grease only as it won't damage the rubber - so long as the rubber is good, then it should cure it and will stop when you use a little more regularly!

just don't get any ideas in the night until you fixed it as the whole campsite will be grinning at you in the morning!

Since 2005
could be dry rubber bushes on the suspension.

a spray with rubber lube may stop it for a while.

an example

Just been out and taken a look whilst my wife was inside springing up and down.I told her to carry on and her reply was "I havent got a bra on " :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. Anyhow i pinned it down to what i would call the suspension arm?It has a plastic sleeve on the top half of it and the squeak seems to be in there. What can i do?

Mouse inside??

Seriously previous posters have said to spray, that's what I do but have found a great product called ACF50.It was designed to be used on aircraft and unlike some other products,eg WD-- etc, this stuff although expensive seems to stick like, well you know what!!
I have noticed since living in France SW that stuff seems to dry out quicker, not this,it seems to remain "gloopy"much longer, available on evil Bay,just an idea.

looks to me like that shock absorber is also leaking and may be an MOT fail point.

dont spray with WD40....it may attack the rubber and make it soft.

just realised that when i went back over the last few posts

no nipples...fit and forget item.
when they leak or become too weak to damp out the bumps you just replace them.

I dont think its anything serious as on done 4K. I sprayed some lube that is used for window rubbers etc so shouldnt do any harm and seems to have cured it.Its not moved for a few weeks and also it sits quite high as its new so might need a bit of action on the rear end.:ROFLMAO:

Hi Dave

Not boasting but my 2012 fiat chassis with 8500 milo has been as good as gold.

Not a cure I know but at least you know it is nothing serious :thumb::thumb:

We are finding at garage that there seems to be a lot of people complaining about squeaks at the moment. The problem is everything is so used to being wet in this country this dry spell is drying everything out all the squeaks will simply disappear the next time it rains.

We had the rear spring hangers on our 2010 Ducato X250 replaced under warranty last year because they were making so much of a din when driving.

Problem now all sorted. :thumb:
