The charity I am chairman of has purchased 11 Cardiac Science AED's and paid less than anything I see advertised and ours were direct from the maker, we carry one in the Moho at all times, you would need to take a CPR & Defib training session usually about 2.5 - 3 hours long, I did our deal and after research found that Cardiac Science G3 AED's were about the best and are widely used by the NHS, anything under £1k would be a good price.

We have them at work (NHS) I will see what make and model when I get in today but I do know the batteries are about £200 a pop every time they need replacing which is about every 2 years.
