Plenty options here to use on your gas hob, better than using the gas grill if you have one...

You are both absolutely right with your posts but I reckon the OP has gotten over it by now, after some 9 x years have passed by.Come on Funsters, this is a kicking to someone who asked an honest question. Think it shouldn’t be about ridiculing them over it.

This thread originated in 2013...let's put it back to bed...I really do feel for the OP after all the laughter they have received. Everyone is learning and it is a honest question.
My two slice toaster is only 1600 watts so 133 amps DC.what's wrong with the gas cooker / grill
You could get An all dancing inverter but would require a 3000kw to run a toaster
It will be 12 volt blow heaters next
Maybe a little generator or may be cold milk on cereal for breakfast

Yes I realise that the thread is yonks old but in that time battery technology has come on in leaps and bounds, Lithium batteries are becoming a lot more prominent and 200ah or more is not uncommon so your 133A toaster load for say 6 minutes would only take around 15ah from your battery bank, solar would have that and more back in before the day is done.My two slice toaster is only 1600 watts so 133 amps DC.
Inverter or not that would cain the batteries.
