We're off to Sunny Yorkshire early next month for a month or so following other half's recent retirement, can any one recommend any quiet CL/CS's near the coast in the Scarborough or Whitby area's please.

That,s worth knowing, I have not been up there in a while, hence the visit, I would like a cl or cs between Dcarborough and Whitby ideally, then we could use buses.

If you are Caravan Club members there are plenty of CL's around Scarborough. Smugglers Rock, Station Farm and White House Farm. All sites are close by to a bus route.

Toft House Farm and Swan Farm near Whitby are another two CL's that have a bus route nearby and they are all suitable for motorhomes.

There are and the Council hyper-active in discouraging motorhomes however there are still plenty of places to park FOC. Very regular visitor so know quite a few; send me private message if interested.

Favourite site is a small CL/CS close to Cayton Bay. Absolutely no facilities beyond water and disposal but very cheap and quiet.

Signed 'Caedament' Schooll. Cross the bridge from Scarboro, site on left as you reach the end of the bridge, Lovely view into the Harbour.
CL Site on the Guisborough Rd one Mile out of town, Bus stop at the gate.
Not sure if the three overnight parking 'Pitches' behind the Whale Bones are still there.
