Could someone please advise where I could source 4 locks for the garage on a 2007 Autotrail Cheyenne 696 ?
My local dealer has tried several sources without success.
Thanks in anticipation:

Hi Gareth,
I wondered if the lot below might be an idea. However, no doubt someone much more knowledgeable will come along and tell us if there is a better idea:winky:

Or contact Autotrail direct with model/make etc perhaps

What is the problem with the original locks? We had a Cheyenne 696.

I had 4 fitted by these chaps in Worcester - all matched to one key. Give them a call and they should be able to advise.

Hi Kath
Thanks for replying. As you know there are 4 locks 2 on each door. When you close the door the lock is turned clockwise and pushed in .You then lock with the key but the mechanism will not catch. However if you apply heavy pressure on the back of the lock the key will turn and catch.Obviously you can only do that on one side by climbing into the garage to apply the pressure --- not very practical.

If you have any ideas please advise.

Since July 2011!
Hi Angus, sounds a lot like the locks on my Dethleffs. I find locking them before pushing them in and then by doing a push and a sort of wiggle/jiggle helps them catch. If you are determined to replace them try googling (other thingys are available) for "caravan compartment lock" and you will find people like leisureshopdirect.com have loads. Ours is the Zadi Push Lock. I managed to transfer the old lock barrels to the new lock. As always, a picture would be helpful as I have no experience of Autotrail but find that the manufacturers buy in these parts and they end up being common to several motorhome makers.
Good luck!
