We passed the Aire opposite Caudebec (Route du Bac) as we came down the River Seine last night. All 5 spaces were taken, I did not get a chance to snap a photo as we were changing Pilots.

But the Aire at La Mailleraye had plenty space last night as can be seen....

Pont de l'arche is handy for Rouen by bus if you want to visit. There's a sign sying 4 max motorhomes. There were six when we arrived and when we left after two nights there were sixteen. No-one seemed to mind. So don't worry about it looking full.

We are in France at the moment and stayed at La Mailleraye sur Seine aire on 17th June, it was busy but there is a lot of coming and going so I think you would always get a space. Lovely aire though and an easy drive from Calais.

While we are on subject of aires the one at Pleneuf Val Andre, described in All the Aires France as being near the marina has been moved 5 minutes up the road now. Its okay but I don't know if its worth the 6 euros a night they charge when others are still free.

When heading back to Calais we usually avoid Rouen altogether and use the huge aire at Honfleur, but there's a bit of extra mileage involved.
