I am confused, we have just been to Wales for a couple of weeks. going we went over the severn bridge, the tolls as I remember were cars £7.60, vans £8.00 something and vehicles over 3.5 tons about £12.80 which our motorhome being 3.88 tons I expected to pay. I was charged £6.20 is there a special rate for motorhomes. Incidentally the pembrokeshire coast particularly around St Davids is stunning.

spongy

It's £6:20 for a car and a motorhome classes as a car.

Worth every penny.

Is that all motorhomes? I thought maybe a tag axle or an RV might be more.

Yes I too was supprised the low amount I was charged last time I used the seven crossing. Glad you like God's own country but keep it to yourself, let the others trex all the way down to Cornwall which keeps Pembrokeshire nice and quite for those of us who know true beauty.

Is it true that they don't charge you to leave Wales because everyone is in such a hurry to get out that no one would stop at the booth to pay?

Surely NOT...

There were plenty in a hurry to get out of Cardiff in March , the England team and the RFU hangers on brigade included.

It would have been rude to stop them:thumb:

Our fourth glorious year!
Oi! whats all this...charging to go across a bridge...no such thing in Scotland thank goodness! We are across the Forth and Tay perhaps 20 times a year and I wouldn't fancy paying upwards of £120! About time that Welsh Assembly got it sorted!!

If the welsh charge the same as a car for motohomes why dont the french?
We would have been charged the same as an artic if we had gone over the Millau bridge 34euro and a car was 6euro.

I used to occasionally cross the Severn bridge in the works vans - Ford Escort van: commercial rate but Lwb hi-top Transit (with a small extra window fitted just behind driver's door): car rate ...
