Cheap Toaster (1 Viewer)

Our toaster packed up and got dumped in a bin in Interlaken a couple of weeks ago (the householder is still wondering where it came from I reckon ). Low 750 watt so that'll be expensive to replace I thought but what did I see in Morrisons this morning, the very same model in their budget range for £5. Probably where we bought the original but long since forgotten, it went in the trolley.

We bought one from Tescos it was cheaper than our stove top model!

We got a 750w one from Argos £4.99. Got it home, checked on our super-duppa chrome Russell Hobbs one in the kitchen to find that it's only 1000w anyway, so you don't really need a special low-wattage one for the van.

Our Tesco branded toaster in the motorhome is 800 watts, so 3 -4 amps. Never caused us any bother.

We got a £5 toaster, kettle and iron all from ASDA and now 5 years old and they still work perfectly, although the iron's only been used a couple of times.

4 slice colour coordinated 1600w versus plastic 2 slice 750w .No contest for the camper.If the 4 slice gets chipped thats a whole new toaster,kettle and coffee/tea/suger containers (or else)
