You may not believe this but the Fiat Cabs actually come to the converters and chassis makers from Fiat bolted together back to back.

They are then unbolted and the rear chassis bolted on thus giving them four wheels

I like this bit on the description.....::bigsmile:

Seller notes: “in good condition, starts and runs perfect. this vehicle is ready to drive around europe.”::bigsmile:

At first we thought it was a badly taken photo, then on a closer look it's as if a caravan has been welded onto a motorhome:whatthe: odd looking thing........wonder if it'll meet the reserve.

Not this vehicle but I did see a vehicle at a re-enactment event a few years ago which was basically a caravan body fastened, somehow, onto a flatbed truck with little or no attempt at making it look to be anything other. Somebody was using it for camping at the event so it must have worked

Glad to see that their are still some 'individuals' around who will try something different.

Ugly or not, a lot of work and engineering went into creating it - looks like it started out as a community bus, cab doors welded up - 10 out of 10 (for effort) from me:thumb:

having seen it parked around town on several occasions this last week and on one stopping to look at it and ask questions, it was well grafted and the joins finished proper. it was for someone that needed wheelchair access who couldnt physically tow anymore (hitchup/unhitch etc) but also didnt want to get rid of their van. I agree it was a bit long though

the sellers reply to a question regarding what it was....

Hi, i was a coach builder and converted this myself. it was a lunor delta caravan and a peugeot boxer van for wheelchairs. it is a very roomey family motorhome, we have been on nearly every beach in portugal and spain plus many in this country.
