Its not rained here for at least a week and a half, been mostly glorious sunshine.
About an hour ago the temperature climbed higher and has gone a little cloudy - it's just started to rain, not much but big spots.

The birds are much noisier and there is that wonderful smell you only get when it hasn't rained for a while,,,,,, really nice.

Never knew I could appreciate a little rain so much.:Blush:

I know what you mean, it sort of refreshes everything and at the moment here everything is bone dry........every time someone drives down past us there's a cloud of dusting from the road.

We haven't had rain here for well over a week now, just warm and sunny and it's to last over the weekend as well........woo hoo:sin::sin::sin:
It's just a shame that all last year's rain has rusted the BBQ or we could use it tonightoh:

the smell of summer rain after a dry spell is great, but happens much too often In the UK.

Get a Weber BBQ, mine has been in the garden 8 years now and shows very little sign of rusting, expensive but quality:thumb:
