Got as far ISPAGNAC in the Gorge du Tarn, Last night 6 miles back in Florac, Very pretty here with some lovely villages. When the sun comes out it's beautiful but we still have a lot of heavy rain. We've been in France nearly two weeks now and have really only had one really good day. Two weeks to go - it has to change doesn't it?

Hi, just looked a the meteo for you and it is supposed to be warming up next week with less rain, it is colder here (near Agen) than UK at the moment! Hope you find the sun.

It started off really sunny here in Skyreburn, but over the past couple of hours it's dulled down a bit.:Sad:

Watched the weather at lunchtime and the north and north west of Scotland were getting the best of the weather.

Our daughter and her boyfriend have just come back from Carcassonne and she was really disappointed that they'd had so much rain.......not what you expect in the south of Franceoh:

We arrived at Cap d'Agde near Beziers today at lunctime. The weather has been mostly sunny with a few clouds scudding about. Not hot, but warm enough to sit out. A strong breeze rather took the edge off the temperature, but dry all day. Windy for the next couple of days or so, but still dry and sunny, and getting warmer too. :thumb:

Spent previous three days inland, about 45 miles north of here - Sunday and Monday were warm and sunny, yesterday was cold and with heavy rain for a few hours.

On our journey down from the UK we had about three days of torrential rain, and at one point on Saturday SNOW. There were cars with three inches of the stuff on their roofs... and we're nowhere near the Alps.

Probably the best day of the year so far here on Deeside, cut the grass, painted a few fence panels and spent the afternoon appreciating my garden with my feet up sitting behind a mounting pile of empty tinnies:thumb::thumb:

We are in Carnac, Brittany, & weather last 3 days has been at least DRY! Previous 3 weeks a disaster, barring 3 days in La Rochelle last week.

We expect cool but sunny till Friday & then it starts to cloud up & rain ALL OVER BRITTANY. We are seriously thinking about bringing our ferry from St Malo forward from 24th to 12th! :Sad:

We just cant stand the thought of 2 more weeks of bloody rain Rather be at home.

We are on the ferry on Friday and heading south. Long range forecast is good, at least warm, sunny and little chance of rain. Our ferry back is the 24th so it had better last until then.

We set off on Friday to catch the early morning ferry Dover/Calais Saturday

Ultimately going to the South of France but it would be nice to have some decent weather for the journey down.

usually when the weather is grotty in France if you head towards Royan on the coast it seems as though the gulf stream has opened a channel of warm air and we have never failed to experience exceptionally good weather there.
We will be on the shuttle on the 12th and over nighting on the Cite de Europe before heading south via Saumur and beyond
