Looking for stopover, pub or cl not far of m6 toll any ideas please.

If all else fails, you can stop overnight at Norton Canes service area on the M6 Toll road. Rate is £20 including £10 food voucher and toll fee, according to the Link Removed anyway.

Welcome to stop on our drive... Got a slight slope and is a bit noisy at time as we are on the main A5...

Otherwise there are a few pubs I can recommend, one I already asked at about people staying and no problems. Guess they would appreciate you buying a meal or a few drinks.

Dont mind which side of toll road, pub would be great for an overnighter and would be leaving around 07:00a.m., we intend to buy food. Thank you for the kind offer of staying on your drive, it would have been nice meeting a fellow funster.

This place is minutes off the M6 at Jn 12. Easy access back on to either the M6 or the M6 toll.
But at 7am I would not bother with the toll.. You do now it's about £9 !!
They have a large car park and when asked on a past visit no problems to stay they said.

This one is a minute off Jn 12.. Do a carvery, big car park at back...

Drive offer is there if you want it, no problems at all.. We are a minute down the road...

Yes but they will charge and it will be as noisy as the motorway services..
The Truckers rest is another one just along the road but same problem..
Good if you want a breakfast though...:thumb:

Norton Canes services on the toll road is very much quieter than any other equivalent motorway service area.

Toll is £11.00 - paid it a fortnight ago.........................

if you are looking for somewhere a bit quieter
if your in Britstops
try Manor Farm at Catthorpe M6/a14/ Junction 2 miles
if your not they still have a small cs

and the local pub is OK. 1/2 Mile.
