Either a faulty sensor on the injector rail, or the short injector loom problem. Just to check the injector loom and ensure all is connected correctly.

a snipped post of info i picked up

Quote ( Same warning light came on several times so I phoned Peugeot Assist.
They said if vehicle also had a loss of power then seek immediate assistance. If no loss of power at all it is likely to be a sensor problem and expect it to go off after either a few miles or after a few starts of the engine!!! )

apparently this info was from Peugeot

Take it to a garage and they can test it
No one on here can really tell you what he fault or the warning is exactly as
Modern motors are chip computer aided. So you need the punter program to read the fault
Yep it's a way to get money out of you
So yes panic. The bank account will take a hit :ROFLMAO:

Find out how to get the code readout and then post it somewhere that understands Peugeot engines. On my Vauxhall, which has the same Fiat engine that is in plenty of Boxers, you hold down the brake and accelerator firmly whilst turning the ignition (not starter) on. Then the mileage readout comes out with the error codes. Peugeots could be identical to this or completely different, but I bet there is a similar trick if they're different.

if i remember rightly, this light can also be triggered by a issue with the vehicles particulate filter . you would need to check which system is fitted as to what action is required . regards garry

2007? I doubt very much that it will have a DPF.

the light is related to particulate filter but only on Euro 5 engines which were not released in uk prior to late 2011.
