Fuel and Air filters (1 Viewer)

Just about to change the filters/oil on our Peugeot Boxer 2.2 (2010). Just asking if changing fuel filter is an easy job.

If its anything like mine (2004) it was a PIA. It was changed by JCD motor repairs Sennybridge. There is a water contamination sensor attached to the bottom of the filter. JCD had to remove the whole filter housing to enable him to remove the connection from the bottom of the filter.

Conversely, having the housing removed simplified fitting of new filter.

my understanding is only change the fuel filter if absolutely necessary as its a pain and a problem to reseal. i guess it depends on where youve got your fuel from and how old / many miles youve done.

in theory its easy in practice it can be a pain to reseal as said its easier to take it out and change pipes are all push fits
