anyone tried tomtom using a android device yet
i have a android based double din radio in van and was toying with idea of buying tomtom full EU but at 50 quid i thought i would ask fiirst

comments please sensible or daft i dont mind

I used to have it.. It was good. I now use Google navigation or co pilot.. Which I prefer

If you can wait 2 weeks I will probably have it by then and can do a proper review and compare it to my real tomtom...

no problem i am in no rush i have a free one on now sygic its ok but i did like tomtom used it for years i suppose its what you get used to :RollEyes:

Not sure if this is totally accurate (haven't been able to confirm!!) but it seems you may not be able to load custom POIs on TT for android

it also lacks a web based local search - co-pilot has google, wikipedia and yelp built in, may not be a deal breaker though!! I use it quite a bit (in the UK that is!!)

whilst searching for the POI answer I did find this Link Removed for loading POIs to use with Google maps...and it works too!!
