Hi
we have been looking at liability insurance for our scooter-----(after a couple of VERY close shaves last year)------the ones we have found limit overseas use to 30 days a year----------anyone know of a Co. that will offer longer cover while abroad ??

I did not know one had to insure an electric mobility scooter
i never have
not that i use mine that much

Haven't phoned anyone yet, just looked at terms and conditions on line - the ones we have looked at say the buggy must be serviced annually and there are limitations on time you can take it abroad, maximum is 30 days so far, which doesn't help us as we are off for a couple of months this summer and about three months over the winter.

We just googled mobility scooter insurers and found them like that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had mine covered on my household insurance. Never took it away though.
