Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
Have been three times to North and South with TOAD and no problems.

If interested read my post of 15/2/12 on RVOC.

Many sites can take RVs without problems BUT all very expensive and EHU and showers are normally charged extra (if you find shower tokens for 1 euro try to get several as they all seem to use the same token and many sites charge 2 euro) - eating out is also costly (£20 here was 40 euro there and at 115 to the £ was £35 or so). Several site owners apologized for having to 'rip you off' but I have a family to feed!

If you have enough TESCO vouchers they make the ferry fare more bearable.

"A" frames are legal anywhere, it is now a well established fact

Eddie - did you have your tongue firmly planted in your cheek when you said that (or whatever the 'finger' equivalent is! :ROFLMAO: ).

Really ... even in Spain? :Eeek:

Yep! I have just come back from the Peterborough show and there were loads of firms making and selling car towing devices.

Everyone that I spoke to, that had enquired about buying one, told me that the dealers were saying that there is no problem towing in Europe!

So it must be true then:RollEyes:
