I need to buy a Leisure battery but will it be cheaper if i was to wait and get one at the Peterborough show? I've been quoted £90 for a 110amp Tungston battery, and have also seen a Powerline 110amp for £69.95 but as i havn't a clue what to do, buy or wait? i could do with a bit of advice please:thumb: I will be using the blow heating quite alot as we dan saaf feel the cold:winky:

Hard to say.

Get one now a little bit cheaper and install it yourself

or

Pay a bit more, get a trader to take one to site, cart it over to your MH and fit it for you.

Of course you could get a new one delivered. Fit this and sell your old one on eBay (collection only). It would more than likely help out a caravaner who's battery has gone duff over the winter. You might get £20-40 back.

Snot to be sniffed at!

Basic question here Rob..
Do you intend going off EHU ?

If it is likely to be a rare event and only for one night/day get a cheapo.. If you think you might like to spend time away from camp sites get your self a Banner or similar.. Money well spent mate

We paid around £60 each for 2 Banner batteries - not up to much really, one went down on us in Croatia (got money back as still under warranty but very inconvenient!)
After a lot of research we went for Trojan tractor batteries , cost a lot more around £120 each but certainly well worth the extra money. Tough as old boots, run loads off them & recharge well, wouldn't even consider anything else now.:thumb::thumb::thumb:
