Do many people have these fitted ? and any feedback on them ?

Wondering if it really is safe to drive with the gas supply on....

I suppose they must be fit for purpose if they sell them .The question is ,do we really need everything they try to sell us ?

yes it is.....they have a built in impact sensor set to around 3.5g which shuts off the gas in an accident and a restricter valve if the gas hose or regulator is ruptured/sheared to stop a sudden outrush of gas if the impact sensor isnt triggered.

Buy the newer type with an added filter, saves a lot of heartache in the long run our van was fitted with this from new but four years on we are now left with a Gaslow regulator after the Truma gunged up, when my ship comes in will definitely be having another fitted and travel in comfort. :Angry::Angry::Angry:

Installed a Truma Monocontrol CS today. Easy install and looks very well made indeed. I went for the ceiling/horizontal mounted version.

Be aware that you also need to buy a special Truma hose connection from the unit to the bottle, this is another £25.

There is also a duo version that switches automatically when bottle 1 is empty, but that's more money again....
