As a 72yr old computer amateur, can anyone tell me in a way I can understand, how do I download POI's onto a Garmin Sat Nav eg ACSI sites, words like Zip, I associate with trousers so you can see the very basic level I am coming from

First thing you will need is Garmin POI Loader from https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=927 once you have this then go to the ACSI website and download the sites in the zip file, when you have these connect your Garmin to your computer and open the POI Loader and then go to the ACSI zip file on your computer the POI Loader will tell you what to do next.
