I think Andy Harris is a good presenter for the Motorhome Channel. He's fun, knowledgeable enough and very personable.

The show is too often let down by the camera work and sound. Compare the Motorhome Channel with the Practical Motorhome videos on YouTubehttp://youtu.be/uZ1EQmiieSI and you'll see what I mean.

But what about Graham Laughlin the new presenter on the Caravan Channel?

His only thing he seems to look for in a motor home is 2 armrests & the ability to make toast !
I did comment to the caravan channel about their site reviews which are incredibly like the Creature Comforts short films. Have a look next time, in particular when a couple are giving their views .
They did mail back saying they agreed it looked like Creature comforts, but the reason being they could only afford the send a single crew member to record them !

It's on Sky channel 212, which is the Information Channel.
The new editions air on every second Monday and are repeated at various times through the week.
Monday night times are :
Caravan Finder TV (presented by Graham Powell) 19.30
Caravan Channel (Graham Laughlin) 20.00
Motorhome Channel (Andy Harris) 20.30

And yes, I am a sad git, cos I record them and watch them with my wife. :Blush:

I had no idea about Andy and Roadpro.

I remember seeing the Roadpro motorhome (with half a dozen sat dishes on the roof) in one edition. I didn't put two and two together oh:

I am a newbie and watch the motorhome channel. Andy is rubbish, Might know his stuff, but messes about too much. I cringe when when he is on. I want the knowledge from the show, sorry Andy stick to your day job.:Sad:

As a newbie you do want to know how everything works so larking around may be an irritation. But once you know your stuff you will find Andy's quick motorhome tours more appropriate.

Graham on the other hand is living proof that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing oh:

To get up to speed John you may want to consider going to a Funsters Rally. This may help you on the steep learning curve that is motorhome ownership :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Who's Graham Laughlin?

Graham Laughlin is the presenter of The Caravan Channel - he took over from Phil Widdows

Andy Harris is the presenter of The Motorhome Channel - he's been around longer. He and Phil Widdows co-presented the Caravan Channel a year or so ago.
