running a boiler without water for heating (1 Viewer)

We have a truma combi boiler is it true you can run the heating without water in it?
I think i read somewhere that you could.

Its in a swift voyager coach built.

Yes there should be two settings up and two down.

Up is warm water only first is 40 C second is 60 C

Down is first heating only second is heating and warm water 60C


However if you have it on heating only and there is water in the system it will also heat water up
if no water in system it is heating only.

Dont know why but it was the same on my last two motorhomes.

Yes it will heat the water to the temperature chosen for the warm air. Unavoidable as the water is in the heater.
