Most are less than half proper price and they ask you to contact them giving you a option to contact them out side ebay either by phone and/or usually gmail/hotmail acount.Once you contact them they give you a vey plausable story that they work away on oil rig etc and if you pay into there account via a ebay holding account to keep your money safe until you take delivery of van and are happy :thumb: then you release the money
sorry but your money went whenyou paid into holding account -no such thing- and the ebay email would have been a spoof email.VERY convicing to idiots

First is the price, always stupidly low, biggest giveaway. Then often they have zero feedback. Then there are the ones that state 'send email (often written 'e_m_a_i_l' or mobile number for more photos/info. Quite often way up in the north of Scotland hoping you won't want to travel that far to view. There are other tell-tale signs that we have learnt to recognise but if they didn't price them so ridiculously low we wouldn't notice them in the first place.

besides what Paul has said they are always a CLASSIFIED ADD never with offers etc,There is NO ebay protection on any classified ads they treat them just like a local paper add
If you are looking and unsure you can always post the link for opinions,most funsters have vans so won't knick your great find

Hi Paul the fith wheel must be a scam but the vauxhall checks out ok in my book :thumb: Gives a phone number that matches area to area code in hampshire edit not phoned it though
