Just a quick question. How far is it to the nearest pub at Ferry Meadows and is it any good?

Thanks

Just down the road from the site, sure it's a Beefeater, foody pub nothing special, but easily walkable.

Caravaning since 1974 - Motorhoming since 2003

Eaten there a few times and it's always been OK
Not been for a few years though, but it is very similar to many others of this type.
I don't remember it being 1/2 mile from the camp site - but that may just be old age.:thumb::Doh:

That'll be me! ::bigsmile:

As others have said, nearest is The Granary (Beefeater) maybe half mile down the road (no hills!). Have eaten there a few times - food perfectly acceptable and service good.

Ahh yes, so it was! I am terrible with names - but remember everything else!:RollEyes:

Be nice to have another funster and fulltimer on site!
