5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
Hi all, I plan to use a cached version of google earth on a windows 8 touchscreen machine (probably an Asus VivoBook S200E) with my cheap GPS reciever via the software interface Goops. This software allows real time navigation on google earth from any GPS reciever not just the ones specified by Google.

My question is can I zoom in and out of Google Earth on a windows 8 touch screen, like is possible on an Android tablet for example? By just using the two fingered squeezing in and out gesture ?

I want to be able to quickly navigate Google maps using gestures, but since I dont have the laptop or software yet-wondered if this was possible.

TIA Campa

Simple answer is no. I've just downloaded it despite it not being Win 8 ratified. You can move around using touch, but two finger zoom does not work.

Given Google's stated line on Win 8, it may be a while, but I'm sure its being worked upon.
