Every caravan, Boater & Motorhome owner in the country knows what we got in Dorset & Hants. (and Im not reminding anybody :ROFLMAO:) You only have to try and get from The bottom of the M3 to Weymouth any weekend from 12.00 mid day on a friday and try the same journey on a sunday evening going the other way. It makes I laugh to look in the cars as they creep by, every front seat passenger has a map on their laps, Theyre never going to get lost they wont go fast enough for that :ROFLMAO:
Heres a little tip if your coming to dorset from anywhere above fleet services leave the M3 or better still dont even use it, leave it to the car drivers. Cut across missing salisbury if possible and you'll have a lovely trouble free trip through the wiltshire countryside before turning south. Then you'll miss our house and we'll all be happy and stress free :ROFLMAO: :thumb:

We holidayed for many years when we had our dog at Barr Hill Farm at Newton Stewart. you are right many people don't holiday there and it's a beautiful area, very friendly people and almost completely unspoiled. Walking is great and the place abounds with wildlife (not all in kilts). :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I agree. We used to go to Silvercraigs at Kirkcudbright in our tenting days in the 1980s - and that was our first destination when we bought the van nearly 2 years ago.

We live in Middlesex, which has nothing to offer as it does not exist anymore, only as a postal code. Is this typical British, I wonder ?? ::bigsmile:
