A couple from Greater Manchester have returned from the trip of a lifetime after giving up their jobs and selling their house to travel abroad in a motorhome.

Chris McClenan and Catherine Warrington from Ramsbottom travelled 67,000 miles over three years and visited every country in Europe.

Highlights of the trip included seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland and the midnight sun in Norway.

Now that was my plan when I first went fulltiming. Almost 4 years in and still haven't got out of the UK. Hopefully this year is the year...

Yes, they say what most of us know,
Finding a full-timing policy can be tricky, but it is possible. You do however need to be on the electoral roll at a UK address. We have used both Safeguard and Comfort Insurance, both of which come with European breakdown cover. For countries such as Russia and the Balkans, we bought third party only cover at the border, also known as “winging it”.

but don't say how they actually do it ..
