A friend of mine has a broken door lock on a brand new vehicle. The manufacturer can't get hold of replacement parts in quick order so I am searching for a replacement elsewhere to help them out.

This is the lock.. Can anyone advise of the make/model of the lock and a supplier who may have them in stock please?
Am happy to replace the whole handle/lock mechanism or just the lock barrel.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

It arrived this morning and I have fitted it between heavy downpours.

It's a little bit of a fiddly job however it was pretty straight forward.
Could have done with some circlip pliers but an electricians screwdriver sufficed as usual.

I couldn't find any instructions on the net on how to do it so just dived in. Providing you are observant about where bits come from and in what order it is not a hard job and should not take more than 20 minutes.

I could probably do it in around 5 minutes now that I know what I am doing..

Thumbs up to
