Never cease to amaze me these Americans......

they have a bloody great landmark in the distance....can be seen for many miles....yet they still cant make a straight heading for it. :ROFLMAO:

I too have visited this area in 2002, we drove around the 17 mile red dirt loop road in our hired mini van, you should have seen aferwards, red dust had seeped through the side sliding door apeture and covered the interior, not funny. We did enjoy visiting all the Navajo people and their little stalls by the roadside, of course, my wife just had to buy some turqoise jewellry made locally, bless her.!!

We were there last year bought some bits and pieces including a dream catcher from a Navajo squaw on the approach to the Navajo bridge.

1 year on and loving it!
My vote goes with photo 1 - I really like the black and white - gives a feeling of desolation about it that is missing in the colour photo.

But both brilliant pictures! :thumb:
