Omnistor and Fiammma rooms. (1 Viewer)

It is probably a numpty question, but I don't know the answer.oh: I am soon to take possession of a new to me Autotrail, it has an Omistor pull out canopy. I have been offered a Fiamma front and sides to make it into a room, so my question is are the two compatible or shall I need to purchase the safari roon from Omnistor?

It will depend on how the pieces attach. The front may well just slide into the channel on the awning if it has a built in kador strip but the sides may have to be hung from Fiamma's proprietary side arms. They can be made to fit an Omnistor awning but they aren't cheap. A Fiamma stockist will advise.

We have an Auto-Trail and if it is the recessed version then Omnistor is the way to go. If memory serves me only one type will fit.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I thought the offer of a cheap(er) alternative was going to be too good to be true. I have looked at the site for Rose Awnings and I shall make a telephone call tomorrow. Thanks again.

Another alternative you might consider if you are going to have to spend some cash is Windblocker Shades. They are much lighter and fold down much smaller than safari room panels. We bought some proper Omnistor side arms to replace the supplied "clothes pole" type arms supplied with the Windblockers but it still came in cheaper.
