A1

I drive from North Yorkshire up to Edzell in Angus quite often, at all times of the year. If you are worried by weather (snow and ice) keep to the A1 to Edinburgh, the A68 is a nicer route but prone to snow drifts on the border. North of Edinburgh up to Perth and Dundee are fine the Scots don't worry about a bit of the white stuff, they worry even less in Aberdeen !:roflmto:
