sensible members would also have kept an eye on the heating oil level too...just had to turn the heating off as were nearly out of oil, as in into the dregs...and the delivery is supposed to be tomorrow

fires are ablazin though, so were nice and toastie for now - if all else fails...its decamp into the van

Thanks Mavis, Sledges are ready to go, we've not seen any snow at all this year yet
I think we are due to be dumped on in the night, but local forecasts say the snow will quickly be replaced by rain so 'situation-normal'

Were taking our cub scouts away tomorrow, the site is near Leeds & Bradford airport which is the highest airport in the UK, so weather is usually worse there than in Leeds

There's also lots of snow in Spain believe it or not! The ski slopes have reopened and in the North (Galicia and Cantabria) and Madrid they are snowed in! It hasn't affected us on the Med just yet but the cold blasts are definitely reaching us.

My flat in the centre of Valencia and never reaches 18ºC but today it did! Had to put the central heating on but after 5 minutes it was too hot!

Cold weather (mainly blasts from the North) is predicted for the next 6-7 days.

But then all will be back to normal with awful 20ºC temps!

After more than 40 years here I am dieing for really cold weather for a long time!!! Remind me of my childhood!
