Tentitively thinking about buying a motorhome after 30 years of caravanning. We have travelled all over near Europe and try and get a couple of two month trips away each year. I might not be a stranger to those of you that visit other forums?

Hi David, welcome to Motorhome Fun, you will get all the information you want on here, often given with a sense of humor, I have replied on SZ. (LL) if you do go down the motorhome route the sub here will probably be the best £10 investment you make.:welcome:

The same dilemma

We went through the same process two years ago. After years of caravanning, we decided we wanted the ease of moving from place to place in a motor home.

The only difficulty we've found is that once we've arrived somewhere and want to stay for a longer period, we can't launch off easily to explore the area. We've just bougt a Smart car, so it looks as if we'll be towing again!

Thanks!

Thank you. It's good to have a place to share experiences.

We bought our Autotrail Scout two years ago, and usually drive down to Provence for a few weeks in the summer. We also holiday in the UK, and spend as many weekends as we can in north Pembrokeshire.

Wherever we go, our lurcher goes too. In fact he's on his second pet passport, as the first got full!

We've just bought a Smart car, and are cosidering the best way to tow it, especially as we travel in Europe.
