It's a safety feature.

The manufacturers are worried the average Yank would forget to turn the drivers seat back round before pulling off::bigsmile:

Just my opinion but £8000 for a 35 year old bus it's overpriced by £4000.

as Jim said....pig ugly when new.....pig ugly now....and won't improve with age . :winky:

aww come on guys the most important thing when choosing a motorhome is the internal layout who gives a stuff if it looks like a bulldog chewing on a thistle after all you only look at the outside of it when you are walking up to it to get in.

I keep looking at some older RV`s, maybe with colour coding, some modern upgrades,it may work out ok.:thumb:
I just dread pumping £££ in diesel ,or petrol or even gas every time for a weekend away:Eeek:
I spose at the moment i can run to van costs to get away--- not HGV costs :Eeek:

Lovely old bus, plenty of space, straightforward V8, a good conversation starter on sites. The thing that puts me off, is when people say "oh weve never used it" to me, that translates into "its knackered". I,d ,much rather spend a few quid, and be able to advertise "EVERYTHING WORKS"......., a much better selling point, but i,d still buy it:ROFLMAO:

Is it a Motorhome or a UPS delivery van ?

But if its lasted 35 years you are not going to lose money on it.

Unlike us with newer MH's.

If you like it and it all works go for it and enjoy it

ugly as sin and NMPG drive like a brick not quite old enough to be RFL exempt still would make a great static or office, hee hee I do like it in a strange sort of a way.

Just think what that 440 big block with the Carter carb will sound like with a pair of straight through pipes on it. Dont even ask what it does to the gallon :beerchug::beerchug::beerchug:

You still see a couple of these old rigs at the shows. Its great that people have the skills to keep them on the road.

Well I think it's really ugly and hideous looking...........best suited to those motor home driving renegades on 'The Walking Dead' ::bigsmile:

However..................................much to my complete embarrassment I do find myself strangely attracted to it :Blush::Blush:

I would not want to own one tho'
