Solar panels (1 Viewer)

Hi allThinking of having a solar panel fitted to the motorhome. Have made enquiries with a Nottingham company to supply and install. Company called Detroit Solar, has any one used them or heard about them. Would appreciate any comments before I commit. I would have a go myself to fit but unable to due to disability.

Whilst I have never heard a bad word said about the company you mention, I do seem to remember their prices were a little high for the products on offer..

Dave Newell supplies and fits about the best solar panels and controllers around, has a 100% solid reputation for good workmanship, AND I believe, as you are a member, will 'look after you' in fiscal terms :thumb:

Following good advice from my fellow funsters, I have just fitted a 100W panal and controller

Got it from ebay

Total cost £140.00

I have had good advice from STEEVIE on this site and he has fitted a domestic solar panel to his M/H and it functions perfectly... Worth a very good look into... Mitch.. :thumb:

sorry about the recco i used bob four years ago to fit a sat system .did a good job at a cheep price .:thumb:
did not look at is latest prices yes a is a bit dear .
i fitted my own solar panel got it of ebay :thumb:
