Does anyone know the transmitting range for DAB stations? We take a DAB radio with us but never seem to have any consistency with finding stations.

I have a cheap portable DAB radio, which we have used all over the uk without retuning. I think it was about 25quid a few years ago. I thought one of the advantages of DAB was that they didn't need tuning.

I bought a dab radio specially for use in the mh Found that 1st it uses Aa batteries very quickly less then a week Then it was totally useless to tune in in Europe
Gone back to my old Sony radio batteries last a long time and I can tune in everywhere easily

Same with mine, the battery life is useless so we now use it from 12v via a universal adaptor (as it actually runs on 6v):thumb:
